Mike Dowd
Mike Dowd has been the PGA General Manager/COO and Head Golf Professional at Oakdale Golf & Country Club in Oakdale, California since 2001, is the NCPGA's 2013 Bill Strausbaugh Award Winner, and was nominated for the NCPGA's 2016 Teacher of the Year. He served three terms on the Northern California PGA's Board of Directors and chaired the Committees for the Growth of the Game and Communications in that time. He has introduced thousands of people to the game of golf since turning professional in 1990 and has coached dozens of collegiate and professional athletes, including his daughter Isabella who has just accepted a scholarship to play for Jessup University.
