Miguel Metelo de Seixas
MIGUEL METELO DE SEIXAS nasceu a 17 de Novembro de 1967. Licenciado (1990) e doutorado (2010) em História pela Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, onde tem leccionado nos cursos de História, Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais e no mestrado em História da Arte. Foi Responsável pela disciplina de Introdução à Heráldica da Escola Superior de Artes Decorativas (FRESS), entre 2007 e 2010. É Director do Centro Lusíada de Estudos Genealógicos e Heráldicos (ULL) e da revista Tabardo e Presidente do Instituto Português de Heráldica, desde 2011.
É também Investigador Integrado do Centro de História de Além-Mar (CHAM-FCSH/UNL-UAç) e do Instituto de Estudos Medievais (IEM-FCSH/UNL). Autor de numerosos livros e artigos, sobretudo na área da Heráldic
