Nació en Durango, Durango, el 27 de noviembre de 1916; muere en la Ciudad de México, el 7 de mayo de 1988. Ensayista y narradora. Creció y radicó en la ciudad de México. Estudió Leyes en la Escuela Libre de Derecho. Fue actuaria de la Suprema Corte de Justicia; secretaria de Acción Social del PRI; profesora de enseñanza especial de la SEP. Miembro de la Asociación de Escritores de México y del Instituto Internacional de Literatura Iberoamericana.
