  Andrés Trapiello, poeta y escritor español, nació en 1953 en Manzaneda de Torío, León.
  
  Después de estudiar Filosofía y Letras en la Universidad de Valladolid, donde también trabajó en el diario Pueblo, se trasladó en 1975 a Madrid, ciudad en la que vive desde entonces. De 1975 a 1977 trabajó como redactor en una revista de arte y de 1977 a 1980, también como redactor, en programas de arte y de literatura de Televisión Española.
