Luis Figueredo was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. He completed his undergraduate degree in History from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and earned his law degree from Harvard Law School. He is the first in-house City Attorney for the City of Doral. During his legal profession, he has represented a diverse group of clients which include municipalities, national trade associations, corporations, real estate developers, and Indian Tribes. Luis is a big sports fan and movie buff. He still roots for N.Y. sports teams-Mets, Jets and Knicks. He is also a big fan of college basketball. In the winter and spring you can find him and his daughter Jordan (Jojo) cheering on the Florida State Seminoles.
