Born in Tokyo and graduated Musashino Art University. While working as a web designer, he wrote Gyakusatsu kikan and submitted to Komatsu Sakyō Award contest in 2006. Although it did not receive the award, it was published from Hayakawa Publishing in 2007 and was shortlisted to Nihon SF Taisho Award. A poll by the yearly SF guidebook SF ga yomitai ranked Gyakusatsu kikan as the number one of the domestic SF novel of the decade.

Yuki Suetsugu (末次由紀 Suetsugu Yuki, born September 8, 1975) is a Japanese manga artist. Her career was put on hiatus after she was discovered of being accountable for plagiarism, including tracing. She later resumed her work on March 2007.

Born in London, England, in 1980, Ayano Imai spent much of her youth traveling the globe with her family. From 1986 to 1990, she lived in Japan then relocated to the United States, splitting time between Connecticut and Los Angeles.
