Rena Rossner hails from Miami Beach, Florida. She is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University's Writing Seminars program, Trinity College, Dublin and she holds a MA in history from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Alice Brooks, also publishing under Alice G. Brooks, is a writer from Germany who likes to write tales about mental health, queer characters and character exploration. She was born in 2002 in the south-west of Germany.

Brooks started writing at a young age, primarily fanfiction of her favorite book series, until she stopped writing at the age of 14. She only picked it back up in 2023, and began writing fanfiction, short stories and finally books.
