Linda Berdoll
NUMBER 4 - The Darcys: New Pleasures
Buy books on Amazon
With the success of her latest Pride & Prejudice sequel, The Ruling Passion, Linda has just completed a continuation of their story in The Darcys: New Pleasures:
Even twenty years into their future, Mr. Darcy remains every woman’s ideal. Still darkly handsome, he is a gentleman of vast wealth and exceptional leg. His virility, whilst of considerable note, is not what invites adoration. His true allure is his all-encompassing love for his wife. Indeed, Elizabeth and Darcy’s passion for each other remains steadfast.
There is but one test that stands in the way of the Darcys’ boundless happiness in this latest telling. It is an ordeal familiar to parents through the ages. Their offspring have come of age and a -
Christina Morland
Christina Morland spent the first two decades of her life with no knowledge whatsoever of Pride and Prejudice -- or any Jane Austen novel, for that matter. She somehow overcame this childhood adversity and became a devoted fan of Ms. Austen's works. Morland has written three Pride and Prejudice variations and contributed two short stories to JAFF anthologies. She is currently working on a Sense and Sensibility sequel and hopes one day to write a Persuasion variation, as well as a fantasy novel that has (almost) nothing to do with Jane Austen.

When not writing, Morland tries to keep up with her incredibly active daughter and maddeningly brilliant husband. She lives in a place not unlike Hogwarts (minus Harry, Dumbledore, magic, and Scotland), -

She fell in love with all things Regency as a teenager, but particularly admires the work of Jane Austen and the way she masterfully combines humour and romance, while weaving them through such wonderful stories and characters.
Her debut novel, Ardently, was written as a hobby, usually with her laptop balanced on the kitchen worktop, typing with one hand, a glass of wine in the other, while she also attempted to cook dinner and keep her children from killing each other.
She has since written the award-wining The Coming of Age of Elizabeth Bennet and When We Are Married. Her latest novel is The Events at Branxbourne. They are all Austenesque novels set in the Pride and Prejudice univers -
Jann Rowland
Jann Rowland is a Canadian, born and bred. Other than a two-year span in which he lived in Japan, he has been a resident of the Great White North his entire life, though he professes to still hate the winters.

Though Jann did not start writing until his mid-twenties, writing has grown from a hobby to an all-consuming passion. His interests as a child were almost exclusively centered on the exotic fantasy worlds of Tolkien and Eddings, among a host of others. As an adult, his interests have grown to include historical fiction and romance, with a particular focus on the works of Jane Austen.
When Jann is not writing, he enjoys rooting for his favorite sports teams. He is also a master musician (in his own mind) who enjoys playing piano and sing -

Laraba Kendig
I am a scientist by training, but a writer at heart. I have always loved reading with a passion and turned my hand to fanfiction a few years ago. I write stories similar to the ones I enjoy reading. They are interesting but light, romantic but not steamy. I am a super fan of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, and have been having a wonderful time writing P&P variations, exploring how new circumstances affect the beloved characters. So far I have published two novel-length Pride and Prejudice variations plus one short story via Amazon. My books include ‘I am Jael’ and ‘The Blind Will See’.

After two decades of exploring countless stories from the JAFF universe, his wife challenged him to try writing one. During a trip to Istanbul, Barry wrote four pages that wove his real-world experiences into alternate-universe stories inspired by Jane Austen’s characters. He continued from there.
He published his first novel, Doubt Not, Cousin, in 2023, followed by The Scarred Duchess in 2024.
Follow The Drum continues his military-influenced alternate universe populated by characters familiar and new.

Lara S. Ormiston
I am the daughter of Christian missionaries, and was born on the beautiful island of Java, Indonesia. I spent most of my first eleven years in that tropical country, with only occasional furloughs in the States. I consider myself to have had a high privileged childhood, rich not in money but experiences. When I was eleven we moved to Zimbabwe, where I lived until I was sixteen, followed by a year in Marin County, California, and a year in Penang, Malaysia (of the two places, Marin County was by far the most foreign to me).

My latest work is Dragons of the Great Wyves, which completes the award-winning Jane Austen Fantasy trilogy. My next project is likely Tiger Seed, a contemporary fantasy rooted in ancient Indus history, although a screenplay for Miss Bennet’s Dragon is tempting…

Fredrica Edward
Fredrica grew up in country Australia speaking cant terms straight from the Regency period, which are now disappearing from use due to the invention of television. Her husband teases her on how easily she can still drop into the lingo if she meets an old timer, but as he once used the word "gammon" in polite conversation - a term only used by highwaymen in Georgette Heyer novels; she pays him no heed. Fredrica spent her summer holidays with her great aunt, a modern miss who learnt to drive a car, and conveyed her husband to the pub once a week when he became too old to get on a horse. Fred first read Pride and Prejudice at fifteen and thought it very entertaining. She next read it at thirty and thought it a work of genius.
