Christina Morland

Christina Morland spent the first two decades of her life with no knowledge whatsoever of Pride and Prejudice -- or any Jane Austen novel, for that matter. She somehow overcame this childhood adversity and became a devoted fan of Ms. Austen's works. Morland has written three Pride and Prejudice variations and contributed two short stories to JAFF anthologies. She is currently working on a Sense and Sensibility sequel and hopes one day to write a Persuasion variation, as well as a fantasy novel that has (almost) nothing to do with Jane Austen.

When not writing, Morland tries to keep up with her incredibly active daughter and maddeningly brilliant husband. She lives in a place not unlike Hogwarts (minus Harry, Dumbledore, magic, and Scotland),

Lara S. Ormiston

I am the daughter of Christian missionaries, and was born on the beautiful island of Java, Indonesia. I spent most of my first eleven years in that tropical country, with only occasional furloughs in the States. I consider myself to have had a high privileged childhood, rich not in money but experiences. When I was eleven we moved to Zimbabwe, where I lived until I was sixteen, followed by a year in Marin County, California, and a year in Penang, Malaysia (of the two places, Marin County was by far the most foreign to me).

After that I attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas, and I still reside less than a hour away, in the city of Round Rock, where I am currently homeschooling my three children.

Jessica Evans cut her writer’s teeth in various fan fiction forums starting at fifteen. Although she discovered Jane Austen’s novels as a college sophomore, she didn’t begin writing Austenesque until several years later. The Muse: A Pride and Prejudice Variation is her debut novel.

Ann Galvia

Ann started writing sometime before she knew how letters functioned. Her first books were drawings of circus poodles heavily annotated with scribbles meant to tell a story. Upon learning how letters were combined to represent words, she started doing that instead. This has proven to be much more successful.

Sometime after that, she decided she wanted to study Anthropology and sometime after that, she decided she liked cats more than dogs.
