Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, French author (c. 1695-Paris, 1755). She is considered the original author of the story of Beauty and the Beast (La Belle et la Bête) which is the oldest known variants of the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.

First published in La jeune ameriquaine, et les contes marins, it is over a hundred pages long, containing many subplots, and involving a genuinely savage Beast, not merely a beastly facade.

Her lengthy version was later rewritten, shortened and published by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont, to produce the sensually toned down version most commonly retold today.

Fabienne Swinkels (1989) werkt al jaren als leerkracht in het basisonderwijs. Daarnaast heeft ze een druk sociaal leven, maar ze vindt altijd tijd om boeken te lezen of zelf te schrijven, iets wat ze tijdens de coronapandemie herontdekte. Ze won een verhalenwedstrijd bij uitgeverij Loft Books en heeft inmiddels voor vier feelgoodboeken getekend. Strandflirt is het derde deel van de Flirt-reeks, na Vensterbankflirt en Koffieflirt.

Martina Gercke

Martina Gercke was born in Germany. After she finished school, she went to university to become a teacher. But it turned out that she wanted to travel around the world more than being a teacher. So she signed up with Lufthansa German Airlines and started to work as a flight attendant. On a flight to Los Angeles she met her future husband Kay. After only five month they got married and still are. Giving birth to two children, Martina Gercke gave up flighing to become a full-time mom. At this time she started writing her own stories.

Nada Iveljić

Nada Iveljić (Zagreb, 4. travnja 1931. - Zagreb, 6. rujna 2009.), hrvatska dječja književnica.

Nada Iveljić rođena je 4. travnja 1931. godine u Zagrebu, gdje je završila I. klasičnu gimnaziju i Filozofski fakultet. Bila je hrvatska dječja spisateljica i književnica. No, prije nego što je postala književnica, bavila se učiteljstvom, a uz to je i radila u časopisu Radost. Neka od njezinih poznatijih djela su: Dođi da ti pričam, Šestinski kišobran i Konjić sa zlatnim sedlom. Umrla je 6. rujna 2009., u Zagrebu, u 79-oj godini života.
