Prisipažinsiu, gyvenimas nebuvo nei labai lengvas, nei pasakiškai gražus. Ne kartą esu kritusi ar pastumta veidu į purvą, bet visada turėjau kažkokią šviesą viduje, kuri tikėjo, kad jei kovosiu, vieną dieną viskas bus gerai. Ir žinote, aš kabinausi į tą šviesą, svajojau, grūmiausi už savo svajones ir jos ėmė pildytis.
Meluosiu, jei sakysiu, kad svajojau parašyti knygą jau vaikystėje. Ne. Buvau kaip visos padaužos mergaitės. Laipiojau medžiais, piešiau princeses ir norėjau būti policininke, išgelbėti pasaulį nuo „blogiečių“.
Nepradėjau skaityti nuo ketverių ir nekūriau pasakų vos pradėjusi vaikščioti, bet kai jau pradėjau skaityti, pasakas skaičiau dieną, skaičiau
