  Bård Torgersen

  Bård Torgersen (f. 1967) var tidlig på 1980-tallet en sentral skikkelse i Oslos musikalske subkultur. Han var vokalist i postpunkbandet Masters of Mø, og på nittitallet ble han en av pionerene på den norske elektronikascenen, senere har han stått bak flere musikalske prosjekter i grenselandet mellom musikk og litteratur.   Novels of Norwegian writer Knut Hamsun (born Knud Pedersen), include Hunger (1890) and The Growth of the Soil (1917). He won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1920.

  Sigurd Hoel

  Sigurd Hoel was a Norwegian author and publishing consultant.
  His literary career began with the short story «Idioten» («the Idiot») from 1918, when he won a writing contest. The same year he became an employee of «Socialdemokraten» («The Social Democrat», a newspaper) as a literature and theater critic.
  
  In 1924 he traveled to Berlin to study socialism, and there he wrote his first novel, «Syvstjernen» (The Seven Star), before moving to Paris for a short time.
  
  During the war Hoel and his wife went back to Odalen. He participated in the Resistance, and wrote articles for the Resistance press. In 1943 he was forced to flee to Sweden.

  Erlend Loe

  Erlend Loe is a Norwegian novelist. He worked at a psychiatric clinic, and was later a freelance journalist for Norwegian newspaper Adresseavisen. Loe now lives and works in Oslo where in 1998 he co-founded Screenwriters Oslo - an office community for screenwriters.
  
  In 1993 he debuted with the book Tatt av kvinnen, and a year later published a children's book, Fisken, about a forklift operator named Kurt. Loe has a distinctive style of writing which is often likened to naïve art. He often uses irony, exaggeration and humor.

  Ingvar Even Ambjørnsen-Haefs (1956-2025) was a Norwegian writer. He is best known for his "Elling" tetralogy: Utsikt til paradiset (1993), Fugledansen (1995), Brødre i blodet (1996), and Elsk meg i morgen (1999).

  Tomas Espedal er født i Bergen i 1961 og debuterte som forfatter i 1988.
