Éric Jourdan was the pen name of Jean Roger Éric Gaytérou, later changed in Jean-Éric Green after his adoption by american writer Julien Green.

Joseph Kessel

Joseph Kessel was a French journalist and novelist. He was born in Villa Clara, Entre Ríos, Argentina, because of the constant journeys of his father, a Lithuanian doctor of Jewish origin. Kessel lived the first years of his childhood in Orenburg, Russia, before the family moved to France. He studied in Nice and Paris, and took part in the First World War as an aviator.

Goliarda Sapienza was an Italian actress and writer. Goliarda Sapienza was born 10 May 1924 in Catania. Her mother was Maria Guidice, a prominent socialist, her father Peppino Sapienza, a socialist lawyer. As a child, Goliarda Sapienza reenacted films she had seen in cinema.
