Hanna Hauru

FIN: Hanna Hauru on suomalainen kirjailija. Hän on opettanut kirjoittamista Tampereen Viita-akatemiassa ja oululaisen Huutomerkki ry:n kurssilla sekä Limingan Taidekoulun sanataiteen opettajana.

Haurun runollista kieltä ja pohjoiseen sijoittuvia tarinoita on verrattu Timo K. Mukan ja Rosa Liksomin tuotantoon. Liksomin tavoin Hauru kuvaa maaseutuelämän ja kaupungin vastakkainasetelmaa, jossa kaupunki edustaa vapautta ja uudistumista. Maaseudun valttina taas on voimaannuttava luonto. Haurun teosten maailma on kuitenkin useimmiten karu ja rikkirevitty, julmuudessaan ja terävyydessään inhorealistinen. Myös myyteillä ja symboleilla on vahva osa kerronnassa.

Tove Jansson

Tove Jansson was born and died in Helsinki, Finland. As a Finnish citizen whose mother tongue was Swedish, she was part of the Swedish-speaking Finns minority. Thus, all her books were originally written in Swedish.

Although known first and foremost as an author, Tove Jansson considered her careers as author and painter to be of equal importance.

Tove Jansson wrote and illustrated her first Moomin book, The Moomins and the Great Flood (1945), during World War II. She said later that the war had depressed her, and she had wanted to write something naive and innocent. Petri Tamminen (s. 1966) on valmistunut Tampereen yliopistosta pääaineenan tiedotusoppi. Tamminen asuu perheineen Vääksyssä ja työskentelee vapaana kirjailijana.

Tamminen tunnetaan lyhytproosan ja lakonisen huumorin mestarina. Esikoisteos, liuskan mittaisia tarinoita sisältävä kokoelma Elämiä ilmestyi vuonna 1994.

Édouard Louis

Édouard Louis is a French writer born October 30, 1992. Édouard Louis, born Eddy Bellegueule, grew up in Hallencourt (Somme) before entering theater class at the Lycée Madeleine Michelis in Amiens.
