Gonzalo Arango Arias fue un escritor y poeta colombiano. En 1958 fundó el nadaísmo, movimiento de vanguardia de repercusión nacional, que intentó romper con la Academia de la Lengua, la literatura y la moral tradicionales. En la música norteamericana y del Caribe de la década de 1960 el movimiento buscó un léxico renovado, optó por el humor y el mundo urbano para situar la obra literaria y la crítica a la sociedad. A este grupo se unieron otros jóvenes pensadores de su tiempo en Colombia y que fueron inspirados a su vez por Fernando González Ochoa, el "filósofo de otraparte".
