Glenn Carter
Glenn Carter was born in Dublin, went to secondary school in Belfast and moved to Scotland when he was eighteen. He lives in Edinburgh with with his wife and three daughters. Glenn enjoys reading, football and playing video games with his kids.
Glenn started on this path because he wanted to write a story for his children. His first book, Operation Sabre took six years to complete. His second book, Mission Midnight was published three years later. Glenn hopes that his books will help engage reluctant readers and ignite a love of the written word.

When he’s not writing epic tales of horned beasties, he’s working as a look-a-like for Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, Zac Efron, and Seal. He spends his free time training hairless mole rats to be service animals for the colorblind, and dreams of one day inventing a Thanksgiving dish that will rival the infamous turducken.

Chris Hannon was the first winner of the New Writing South New Buds award in 2011, completed a Masters in Creative Writing in 2013 and published his first novel, a Victorian adventure novel; Perry Scrimshaw’s Rite of Passage, in 2015.
The first book in the Orca series, spy thriller Orca Rising was released in 2018 (Thistle Publishing) and was shortlisted and a finalist for The People’s Book Prize 2018. Orca Rogue Agent is his third novel.
Chris cares for fruit trees, a young son (not necessarily in that order) and in doing research for the book tried Aikido and now practices regularly at Takemusu Aikido Motril.
