Geert Noels

Noels is licentiaat in de Toegepaste Economische Wetenschappen. Hij studeerde aan de Handelshogeschool in Antwerpen en behaalde in 1990 tevens een MBA aan de KU Leuven.

Hij verwierf bekendheid in de financiële wereld als hoofdeconoom van Petercam. In 2009 werd bekend dat hij zich terugtrok als bestuurder van Petercam en het bedrijf verliet. Vervolgens startte hij Econopolis, een vermogensbeheerder en financieel-economisch advieshuis. Ook is hij bestuurder bij de Koninklijke Schenking waar hij aangetrokken werd om de negatieve resultaten proberen om te buigen.
