Life is messy and I try to reflect that in my stories while still leaving readers with a feeling of hope. I want them to see themselves and people they know in my characters.

You could say writing is in my genes. My paternal grandmother was a formidable diarist; my father was a journalist and poet; my sister and cousin are both published authors; even my son has shown a talent for putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) to tell awesome stories. So, it came as no surprise to anyone when I returned to my love of fiction after more than 20 years in the world of corporate communications–although some might argue there was plenty of opportunity for fiction-writing there, too.
A fan of many genres, I find it hard to stay within the publishing -

Ian Crouch
I am a doctor, living and working in Adelaide, South Australia. This has always been my home, apart from a wonderful year working in London in the early days. Since my teenage years, Greek and Roman history has been my favourite reading. “A Pyrrhic Victory” is an extension of my love of, and delight in, Greco-Roman history and literature. It was a great honour to have the book published, and even more so when it received the two literary awards: 2011 IPPY Awards. Gold Medal, Historical Fiction (Category 12 B, Military / War). Winner, Historical Fiction. NABE Pinnacle Book Awards, Summer 2012.

Andrew Cheffings
Andrew Cheffings was born on a small working farm on the Lincolnshire Marsh. The local culture he was born into was coming to an end. His Grandfather still spoke N. Lincolnshire dialect and had a store of stories, aurally transmitted through the generations. Evenings with him were often spent sharing these stories. Life on the farm had its difficulties. And in recent memory there had been a time when every winter was spent digging long trenches by hand, right across wide, heavy clay fields, back and forth, right through the day, in order to drain the water-logged earth. Andrew's stories reflect the experiences of growing up in a challenging local culture which was coming to its end, but was also rich in stories and traditions. And into thes

Jack Meyer
Jack became intrigued by thrillers when Tom Clancy's The Hunt for Red October was published in 1984. For the next 16 years he was content to read as much as he could and didn’t give writing much thought. That changed, however, during the 2000 Presidential election as he watched TV coverage of the Florida recount and the “hanging chads” controversy. It gave him the idea that an election conspiracy would be a great basis for a thriller. Unfortunately his career, which included management positions in corporate America and small business ownership as well as a brief stint in ministry, kept Jack too busy to write until he retired in 2020. That’s when he began his life as an author.
