Feby Indirani, Journalist and Writer, started to write since elementary school, beginning with a diary. When in high school, she got 2nd place in an essay contest for teen organized by Gadis magazine, and was actively involved in a school publication. She went to Universitas Padjadjaran, majoring in journalistic, and joined djatinangor student publication. Feby won an Essay Writing Competition for Students in 2001, organized by Toyota Astra Foundation. Late 2002, she received a grant from the Asia Foundation and the Study Center for Religion and Civilization (PSAP) Muhammadiyah, through a call for papers on Women and Muhammadiyah.

May 2003 through June 2004, Feby worked as a reporter in Trust magazine. July 2004, Feby joined the Tempo Group

Eka Kurniawan

Eka Kurniawan was born in Tasikmalaya in 1975 and completed his studies in the Faculty of Philosophy at Gadjah Mada University. He has been described as the “brightest meteorite” in Indonesia’s new literary firmament, the author of two remarkable novels which have brought comparisons to Salman Rushdie, Gabriel García Márquez and Mark Twain; the English translations of these novels were both published in 2015—Man Tiger by Verso Books, and Beauty is a Wound by New Directions in North America and Text Publishing in Australia. Ahmad Tohari

Ahmad Tohari is Indonesia well-knowned writer who can picture a typical village scenery very well in his writings. He has been everywhere, writings for magazines. He attended Fellowship International Writers Program at Iowa, United State on 1990 and received Southeast Asian Writers Award on 1995.

His famous works are trilogy of Srintil, a traditional dancer (ronggeng) of Paruk Village: "Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk", "Lintang Kemukus Dini Hari", and "Jantera Bianglala"

On 2007, he releases again "Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk" in Java-Banyumasan language which is claimed to be the first novel using Java-Banyumasan. Toward his effort, he receives Rancage Award 2007. The book is only printed 1,500 editions and sold out directly in the book launch.

Zaky Yamani

Zaky Yamani was born in Bandung City, July 27th 1978. He worked as a journalist and editor for the Pikiran Rakyat daily from 2002 until 2016.
