Erik Baláž
Erik Baláž sa narodil v Stropkove v roku 1978. V roku 2002 vyštudoval odbor Ekológia lesa na Lesníckej fakulte Technickej univerzity vo Zvolene. Už počas štúdií bol aktívny v kampaniach Lesoochranárskeho zoskupenia VLK, ktorých cieľom bola ochrana prirodzených lesov. Je jedným z hlavných organizátorov občianskej iniciatívy My sme les, ktorá vznikla v roku 2017 za účelom ochrany národných parkov a vzácnych lesov proti masívnej ťažbe, a členom Slovenského ochranárskeho snemu. V roku 2017 získal ocenenie Biela vrana za „výnimočnú vytrvalosť a oddanosť svojmu poslaniu získať ľudí pre ochranu prírody, schopnosť vytvárať v nich vzťah k prírode a spájať rôznych aktérov“. Ryszard Kapuściński
Ryszard Kapuściński debuted as a poet in Dziś i jutro at the age of 17 and has been a journalist, writer, and publicist. In 1964 he was appointed to the Polish Press Agency and began traveling around the developing world and reporting on wars, coups and revolutions in Asia, the Americas, and Europe; he lived through twenty-seven revolutions and coups, was jailed forty times, and survived four death sentences. During some of this time he also worked for the Polish Secret Service, although little is known of his role.

(1921-2003) Slovakian Romani poet, story writer, and playwright born in Velky Šariš region. She has written several plays, novels, and stories about the Romani Holocaust experience. Her plays have been shown in Romani theatres since the 1950s and her short stories “Dead are not Coming Back,” “White Ravens,” and “Life in the Wind” were published in magazines and the Romani newspaper Romano Nevo Lil.
