Miroslav Žamboch (born 13 January 1972) is a Czech physicist and author whose modern-sensibility-imbued science fiction and fantasy novels and short stories have propelled him to the forefront of early 21st century Eastern European genre writers.
A native of the Moravian town of Hranice, Miroslav Žamboch graduated with a degree in physics from the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. He has been working at the Institute for Nuclear Studies and, since the mid-1990s, has written ten novels and three collections of short stories. Four of his novels, including the most recent, 2007's Drsný Spasitel (Harsh Savior) have been translated into Polish.

Vladimir Voinovich

Vladimir Voinovich (rus. Владимир Николаевич Войнович) was born in what is now Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, but which at the time of his birth was Stalinabad, a city in the USSR.

Peter Madsen is a drawing artist and illustrator, an author, a filmmaker and a lecturer. He was born on 12 May, 1958 in the city of Århus, Denmark. As a boy he moved around Denmark with his family until they settled down in the city of Roskilde. Peter Madsen had his first strips published at the age of fifteen, then chose to study medicine. (Irvin Shrewsbury Cobb)

American author, humorist, editor and columnist from Paducah, Kentucky who relocated to New York during 1904, living there for the remainder of his life.

He wrote for the New York World, Joseph Pulitzer's newspaper, as the highest paid staff reporter in the United States.

Cobb also wrote more than 60 books and 300 short stories. Some of his works were adapted for silent movies. Several of his Judge Priest short stories were adapted for two feature films during the 1930s directed by John Ford.

Stefan Grabiński

Stefan Grabiński (February 26, 1887 - November 12, 1936) was a Polish writer of horror fiction, sometimes called "the Polish Poe".

Grabiński worked as teacher in Lwów and Przemyśl and is famous for his train stories collected in Demon ruchu (The Motion Demon). A number of stories were translated by Miroslaw Lipinski into English and published as The Dark Domain. In addition, some of his work has been adapted to film, such as Szamota's Mistress.

Grabiński died of tuberculosis in 1936.

Horst Hoffmann is a German author, also known under the pen name Neil Kenwood.

He studied art history and economics in his youth before deciding to become a writer. His first novel was published in 1976.

He started working on the Atlan series, and in 1982, his first Perry Rhodan booklet novel was published (#1076). His stories were often satirical in nature.

He announced his retirement from the Perry Rhodan writing team in September of 2009.
