Fast forward through my former lives as a writer of advertising content, fundraising campaigns and nonprofit grant requests. What I enjoyed most was composing whimsical poems for family and friends and finding new books to read to my kids at bedtime. For me, there’s nothing better than sharing a laugh with a child who has nestled into my ribcage and who wants to help turn the pages. My kids are now adults and I have the adventure of writing the books I would have chosen “back in the day.”
I totally acknowledge that life isn’t easy. -
