Can Kozanoğlu

Can Kozanoğlu (d. 1963, Adana), Türk sosyolog, yazar ve gazeteci.
1963 yılında Adana'da doğdu. Robert Kolej ve Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Sosyoloji Bölümü'nü bitirdi. Gazeteciliğe 1981 yılında Hayat dergisinde başladı. Aralarında Yeni Gündem, Nokta, Cumhuriyet ve Milliyet'in de bulunduğu çok sayıda gazete ve dergide muhabir, editör, köşe yazarı olarak çalıştı. Çeşitli mizah dergilerine takma isimlerle yazılar yazdı. Uzun yıllar boyunca TRT'de yayımlanan Okudukça isimli kitap programını sundu. Televizyonculuk kariyerini daha sonra CNN Türk ve NTV'de sunucu, belgeselci, editör, yönetici olarak sürdürdü.

Georgi Gospodinov

Georgi Gospodinov is a writer, poet and playwright based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He studied Bulgarian Philology at Sofia University. Vigdis Hjorth (born 1959) is a Norwegian novelist. She grew up in Oslo, and has studied philosophy, literature and political science.

Ayşe Kulin is a Turkish contemporary novelist and columnist.
Kulin graduated in literature from the American College for Girls in Arnavutköy. She released a collection of short stories titled Güneşe Dön Yüzünü in 1984. Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar was a Turkish writer and politician.

Gürpınar was the son of a family close to the Ottoman court, born in Istanbul. Having lost his mother at an early age, he was sent to Crete where his father was an Ottoman civil servant, however he was soon sent back to Istanbul, where he was brought up by his aunts and grandmothers in Istanbul.

Gürpınar started writing fiction at an early age. He became a civil servant, then a writer and journalist. He later served as a member of parliament in the early years of the Turkish Republic between 1935 and 1943.
