Born in 1975 in Xining, in the province of Qinghai, China. He began drawing an early age by copying lianhuanhua (tradictional Chinese palm-sized picture books of sequential art). He soon became fan of Osamu Tezuka, Zhan Leping, and black-and-white pirated editions of TinTin. As a teenager , he won a constest sponsored by comics magazine and had his drawings published for the first time. Later, he was deeply influenced by the range of works within the Chinese comics scene, as well as by Japanese artists Akira Toriyama and Katsuhiro Otomo, not to mention Moebius (the french cartoonist Jean Giraud). Maman Suherman

Maman Suherman lahir di Makassar, 10 November 1965. Menempuh beragam pendidikan, namun hanya lulus dari Jurusan Kriminologi, FISIP - UI. Bertumbuh sebagai penulis selama 15 tahun (1998-2003), dari reporter hingga menjadi pemimpin redaksi di Kelompok Kompas Gramedia. Ia pernah juga menjadi Direktur Produksi hingga Managing Director (2003-2011) di Biro Iklan & Rumah Produksi Avicom.

Penggagas Panasonic Gobel Awards ini memutuskan untuk tidak berkantor lagi, dan kini menjadi "pemulung kata-kata". Sempat menjadi presenter untuk acara di KompasTV, kini ia menjadi konsultan kreatif dan No Tulen acara 'Indonesia Lawak Club' di Trans7.

Acep Zamzam Noor
