Anne Vegter

Anne Vegter is een Nederlandse dichteres, proza-, toneel- en kinderboekenschrijfster.

Nadat ze een jaar in een psychiatrische inrichting had gewerkt en na uitstapjes naar kunstgeschiedenis en pedagogiek, ging ze naar de drama-opleiding van de toenmalige Akademie voor Expressie door woord en gebaar in Utrecht.

Schrijven en illustreren werden voor haar echter steeds belangrijker. Via het kindertijdschrift St. Kitts van de Bovenwindse kwam ze in contact met Geerten Ten Bosch. Dat resulteerde in 1989 in het kinderboek De dame en de neushoorn, waarvoor Anne Vegter de tekst schreef en Geerten Ten Bosch illustreerde. Voor dit boek kregen ze in 1990 de Woutertje Pieterse Prijs.

Jenny Erpenbeck (born 12 March 1967 in East Berlin) is a German director and writer.

Jenny Erpenbeck is the daughter of the physicist, philosopher and writer John Erpenbeck and the Arabic translator Doris Kilias. Her grandparents are the authors Fritz Erpenbeck and Hedda Zinner. In Berlin she attended an Advanced High School, where she graduated in 1985. Marlen Haushofer

Marlen Haushofer was born in Frauenstein, Molln, Austria on April the 11th, 1920. She went to a Catholic gymnasium that was turned in a public school under the Nazi regime. She started her studies on German Language and Literature, in 1940 in Vienna and later on in Graz. She married the dentist Manfred Haushofer in 1941, they divorced in 1950 but reunited in 1957. They had a son together, in addition to the one son she had brought to their “second” marriage.

Although Marlen Haushofer won prizes for her work and gained critics laud, she was an almost forgotten author until the Women's Movement rediscovered her, with special attention of the role of women in the male-dominated society themes in her work.

Nino Haratischwili (Georgian: ნინო ხარატიშვილი) is a Georgian-born German novelist, playwright, and theater director.

Haratischwili was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she attended a German-language school. To escape the political and social chaos that followed the collapse of the Soviet Union, she moved to Germany for two years in the early 1990s with her mother, where she attended the seventh and the eighth grade of school. Her family returned to Georgia afterwards. Haratischwili later moved to Germany again in order to attend drama school in Hamburg. She became a German citizen in 2012.

Maartje Wortel

Maartje Wortel (1982) volgde de opleiding Beeld & Taal aan de Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. In 2007 won ze de Write Now!-wedstrijd voor literair talent. Ze publiceerde verhalen in Passionate, De Brakke Hond en De Gids en schreef columns voor NRC Handelsblad. De verhalenbundel Dit is jouw huis is haar debuut. Ze won er de Anton Wachterprijs 2010 mee, en kreeg de Nieuw Proza Prijs Venlo 2010 voor het verhaal 'Kranten', dat in de bundel is opgenomen. Vincent Van Meenen

Simone Atangana Bekono (1991) studeerde in 2016 af aan Creative Writing ArtEZ. Ze publiceerde op De Optimist, Samplekanon en in De Gids. Ze droeg voor op de Nacht van de Poëzie, Read My World, het Wintertuinfestival en vele andere podia.
