Ana María del Río

Ana María del Río (Santiago de Chile, 1948) es una profesora de literatura, escritora feminista y novelista chilena adscrita a la nueva narrativa chilena de los noventa post-dictadura.

Realizó estudios de literatura en la Universidad Católica de Chile y especializaciones en las universidades de Rice y Pittsburg. Su producción se ha publicado tanto en Chile como en España, Argentina y Estados Unidos.

Debutó en el ámbito literario con su libro Entreparéntesis en 1985, mientras que un año después, lanza su primera novela con el título Óxido de Carmen, que abordaría la subjetividad femenina imperante en la literatura femenina latinoamericana de la década de 1980 observable también en Alessandra Luiselli, María Luisa Puga, Elena Poniatowska y Carm
