William Joyce
British radio propagandist for Germany during world war two.
Joyce was born in America as the child of unionist Irishmen. When the republic Ireland was declared his family moved to London.
Joyce was a member of the British Facists and later of the BUF but was fired by Oswald Mosley, probably because of his antisemitism.
During the British war with Germany Joyce produced the pro-German propaganda radioshow "Germany calling" By the British public he was nicknamed Lord Haw-Haw
After the war he was tried, convicted and hanged for treason by the government of Great-Britain. Although his nationality was Irish.
