Vicente Valero

Vicente Valero nació en la isla de Ibiza en 1963. Es uno de los principales poetas de su generación, autor de seis poemarios y Premio Loewe. En 2014 Periférica publicó su primera y elogiadísima novela, Los extraños, a la que siguieron Las transiciones (2016), primera de una serie de novelas cortas «de formación» a la que pertenece también Enfermos antiguos (2020). A medio camino entre el ensayo literario y el libro de viajes se encuentran El arte de la fuga (2015), Duelo de alfiles (2018) y Breviario provenzal (2021). En 2017 Periférica recuperó, en una edición corregida y ampliada, su ensayo Experiencia y pobreza. Walter Benjamin en Ibiza, traducido ya a varias lenguas.

Natalia Ginzburg

Natalia Ginzburg (née Levi) was an Italian author whose work explored family relationships, politics during and after the Fascist years and World War II, and philosophy. Camilo José Cela

Camilo José Cela Trulock was a Spaniard writer from Galicia. Prolific author (as a novelist, journalist, essayist, literary magazine editor, lecturer ...), he was a member of the Royal Spanish Academy for 45 years and won, among others, the Prince of Asturias Prize for Literature in 1987, the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1989 ("for a rich and intensive prose, which with restrained compassion forms a challenging vision of man's vulnerability.") and the Cervantes Prize in 1995.
