Valentina C. Brin è nata a Padova nel 1985.
Sogna storie da quando era bambina, ma ha iniziato a scriverle soltanto nell'adolescenza. Tra una lettura di un fumetto e di un libro, si è laureata in Psicologia. Ballerina - o meglio, balleronza - moderna da nove anni, ama la danza in tutte le sue forme anche se la penuria di tempo e di soldi l'hanno costretta a scegliere soltanto uno stile da praticare. La danza non è l'unico talento inascoltato che avrebbe potuto mettere a frutto dall'infanzia: la natura l'ha dotata di una buona mano nel disegno, ma quando tutti le consigliavano di fare il liceo artistico lei ha scelto il magistrale. Ama i suoi gatti, che non la lasciano scrivere; ama il suo ragazzo, che non la lascia scrivere.
