Uğur Gürsoy

1976 yılında Denizli'de doğmuştur. Asıl mesleği olan diş hekimliğini icra ederken bir yandan çeşitli mizah dergilerinde amatör karikatürleri yayınlandı. 2004'te Penguen Dergisinde sürekli köşesi yayınlanmaya başladı. Henüz yeni bir karikatüristken Ersin Karabulut, Umut Sarıkaya gibi arkadaşlarıyla birlikte Penguen'den ayrılarak Uykusuz Dergisinin kurucu kadrosu içinde yer aldı. Uykusuz'da çizmeye başladığı Fırat karakterinin çok sevilmesi sonucu dönemin en popüler çizerlerinden biri oldu. Fırat dışında Faik, Selim gibi başka karakterlerin de yaratıcısıdır. Uykusuz'un çıkışıyla birlikte dişçiliği bırakmıştır. Dergide çizer olarak faaliyet göstermesinin yanında derginin "imtiyaz sahibi ve yazı işleri müdürü" konumundadır.

Sabahattin Ali (February 25, 1907 – April 2, 1948) was a Turkish novelist, short-story writer, poet, and journalist.

He was born in 1907 in Eğridere township (now Ardino in southern Bulgaria) of the Sanjak of Gümülcine (now Komotini in northern Greece), in the Ottoman Empire. Nâzım Hikmet

Nazim Hikmet was born on January 15, 1902 in Salonika, Ottoman Empire (now Thessaloníki, Greece), where his father served in the Foreign Service. He was exposed to poetry at an early age through his artist mother and poet grandfather, and had his first poems published when he was seventeen.

Raised in Istanbul, Hikmet left Allied-occupied Turkey after the First World War and ended up in Moscow, where he attended the university and met writers and artists from all over the world. Maria Iordanidou
Γεννήθηκε στην Κωνσταντινούπολη το 1897 και έζησε τα παιδικά της χρόνια στον Πειραιά και το Βατούμ της Ρωσίας. Φοίτησε σε ρωσικό γυμνάσιο, στη Σταυρούπολη, όπου τη βρήκε η Οκτωβριανή Επανάσταση. Το 1919 γύρισε στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και λίγο αργότερα πήγε στην Αλεξάνδρεια, όπου παντρεύτηκε τον Ιορδάνη Ιορδανίδη. Το 1923 επέστρεψαν μαζί στην Αθήνα, αλλά σύντομα ο Ιορδανίδης έφυγε.

Εξαιτίας των συνθηκών της ζωής της, η Ιορδανίδου απέκτησε μεγάλη γλωσσομάθεια και εργάστηκε ως ιδιωτική υπάλληλος. Έγινε γνωστή στο λογοτεχνικό χώρο με το έργο Λωξάντρα, που έγραψε σε ηλικία 65 χρονών, το 1962, και γνώρισε πολλές επανεκδόσεις.
