Toney Baus
I am a mangled survivor of globalism's blighting touch on US manufacturing. Luckily, I am also stubborn.
That image is of my beloved dog, Lucy. She moved on to the next stage after 16 years, not so long ago. We've recently adopted an abandoned kitten, too. I did not think I was ready for another pet yet, but it pleases me to know she is not in one of our overloaded animal shelters. She's quite the performance artist.
I've started writing the sequel to "Petals in the Hail," "Blades in the Sun," My goal in writing is to make riveting fantasy adventures worth banning in the mid-west. I am, at heart, a culture warrior, and I find the demonizing of the LGBTQ community revolting.

I'm a lifelong reader and fan of stories in every medium. I started writing for fun in the second grade (I think my mom may still have my school-assigned short story "The Frozen Eyes," which I shakily wrote on lined paper). I'm also an Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer in the United States Army. While on my second deployment to Iraq, I began to write again. First, I wrote screenplays, then moved on to writing novels, the first being "Bystanders."

Balroop Singh
Balroop Singh, an educator, a poet and an author always had a passion for writing. She would jot down her reflections on a piece of paper and forget about them till each drawer of her home started overflowing with poetic reminders, popping out at will! The world of her imagination has a queer connection with realism. She could envision the images of her own poetry while teaching the poems. Her dreams saw the light of the day when she published her first poetry book: ‘Sublime Shadows Of Life.’ She has always lived through her heart. She is a great nature lover; she loves to watch birds flying home. The sunsets allure her with their varied hues that they lend to the sky. She can spend endless hours listening to the rustling of leaves and the
