Thomas Day

Thomas Day, né en 1971 à Paris, est un écrivain de SF et de fantasy de langue française. Il a publié une quinzaine de romans depuis 2002, parmi lesquels L’Instinct de l'équarrisseur ou Le Trône d’ébène. Son roman La Voie du Sabre (adaptée en bande dessinée aux éditions Glénat) a reçu le Prix Julia Verlanger en 2003. Il mêle fréquemment des éléments fantastiques à ses récits, et se caractérise par un imaginaire très documenté et une écriture percutante. Infatigable voyageur, il aime tout particulièrement l’Asie du sud-est, les Rocheuses et l’Ecosse. Quand il n’écrit pas, il travaille comme directeur de collection dans une grande maison d’édition. Il réside en région parisienne.

Nancy Kress

Nancy Kress is an American science fiction writer. She began writing in 1976 but has achieved her greatest notice since the publication of her Hugo and Nebula-winning 1991 novella Beggars in Spain which was later expanded into a novel with the same title. In addition to her novels, Kress has written numerous short stories and is a regular columnist for Writer's Digest. She is a regular at Clarion writing workshops and at The Writers Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Ralf König was born on the 8th of August in Soest, Westphalia, Germany. He went to the secondary school in Werl and then later did an apprenticeship as a cabinet-maker. In 1979 during his coming-out he published his first short comic stories which due to the politically motivated gay-movement were very engaged. The comic-stories appeared in the Munich underground magazine Zomix as well as in the gay periodical Rosa Flieder.
