Theresa Hannig was born in 1984 in Munich, Germany. She studied Political Sciences, Economics and Philosophy at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
She worked as SAP consultand, project manager for solar power plants and light designer.
In 2016 Theresa Hannig won the Stefan-Lübbe-Preis and with it a contract for her first novel "Die Optimierer".
In March 2018 "Die Optimierer" was awarded with the Seraph 2018 for the best debut novel.

Eschbach studied aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart and later worked as a software engineer. He has been writing since he was 12 years old.
