TD lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, Kim, and two dogs, Frodo and Piper. He has three three incredible daughters, all way smarter than him. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, meaning he’s looking forward to the next time the Penguins win the Stanley Cup, the Steelers win the Super Bowl, or the Pirates finish with a winning record.

He graduated from the Air Force Academy and served a career in the Air Force. He suffers from a couple unusual maladies, which may be obvious in his writing, to include a strong tendency to think in song lyrics and an inability to resist dropping or hiding an obscure pop culture reference from decades past.
