Katelynn Wu was born on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Driven by her love for epic adventures, fantasy worlds, and witty banter, Katelynn began writing stories at 13 years old. Years later, she submitted her writing pieces to the Scholastic Art & Writing Competition and received multiple silver keys and honorable mentions, one of which eventually became her debut novel Queen of Spades.
