Tracy Tydeman was born and raised in Colorado. She went to college in North Carolina and Denver, graduating with a B.A. in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Colorado. While in college, Tracy also became a Snowboard Instructor, so just after graduation she took the opportunity to "chase winter" - heading to New Zealand to experience another country. Shortly after returning home, she started her career as a full-time Graphic Designer. In 2019, after the death of her dog, she was inspired to share her dog's story with the world and decided to write her first children's book. I am so glad to become a writer and illustrator. It has been a very fun process.
