Stephanie Gorton wrote "The Icon and the Idealist: Margaret Sanger, Mary Ware Dennett, and the Rivalry that Brought Birth Control to America" (2024), which won the ASJA Award for Biography/History, was a finalist for the Plutarch Award for biography, and was longlisted for the Brooklyn Public Library Book Prize.
