Stef is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). She’s bounced all over the midwest with her college sweetheart husband and her three historically and literary named brood of boys and currently resides in the greater Milwaukee area.

Lauren Stringer
LAUREN STRINGER is an artist, author, and theatrical designer living in Minneapolis, MN. She received her BA in Art and Art History from the University of California, Santa Cruz and continued her art education with the Whitney Museum of American Art, Independent Study Program in NYC. She has exhibited her paintings and sculptures in museums and galleries across the country. In 1991 she received the McKnight Foundation Fellowship for sculpture. Monica Wellington
Monica Wellington was born in London and lived in Europe until she moved to the United States at age seven. As a child she always loved to draw and paint, but it wasn't until she went to college that she realized she wanted to be an artist for her profession. She went to the University of Michigan's School of Art to earn her BFA and studied pottery, painting and printmaking. After art school, while traveling and living in a number of different countries, she had various art related jobs, which were all good background and preparation for doing children's books. Kate Leake

Kate Leake is a freelance illustrator (fully qualified doodler and colourer-in) based in sunny Stoke on Trent.
She studied Illustration for Children's Publishing at the North Wales School of Art and Design and graduated in 2004. Since then, she has been happily scribbling away in her studio Planet Pencil, illustrating numerous children's books and designs for greetings cards. Sometimes she gets asked to work on other exciting projects like murals, posters and wedding invitations.
Kate's work features a combination of hand drawn and digital techniques, with a quirky, humorous style and a great attention to detail.

Kenneth Kraegel is a self-taught illustrator and writer. He was a CJ Picture Book Award Finalist and is a recipient of a Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Tomie dePaola Honor Award. Karen Swann
