  Erlend Loe is a Norwegian novelist. He worked at a psychiatric clinic, and was later a freelance journalist for Norwegian newspaper Adresseavisen. Loe now lives and works in Oslo where in 1998 he co-founded Screenwriters Oslo - an office community for screenwriters.
  
  In 1993 he debuted with the book Tatt av kvinnen, and a year later published a children's book, Fisken, about a forklift operator named Kurt. Loe has a distinctive style of writing which is often likened to naïve art. He often uses irony, exaggeration and humor.

  Åsne Seierstad is a Norwegian freelance journalist and writer, best known for her accounts of everyday life in war zones – most notably Kabul after 2001, Baghdad in 2002 and the ruined Grozny in 2006.
  She has received numerous awards for her journalism and has reported from such war-torn regions as Chechnya, the Balkans, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

  Arnhild Lauveng is a Norwegian psychologist educated at the University of Oslo, who previously was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
  She workes as a PhD candidate at Akershus University Hospital (AHUS), at the department for mental health.
  She has written two autobiographies dealing with her diagnosis of schizophrenia.
  
  In 2004 she won the "Prisen til fremme av ytringsfriheten innen psykisk helsevern" (The Award for the promotion of freedom of expression within mental health care).
  In 2008 she was awarded the Fritt Ord Honorary Award, and in 2010 the Åpenhetsprisen, an award for people who has made a special effort speaking openly about and highlighting mental health in public space.
  
  She lives in Lørenskog in Akershus county in Norway.

  Else Kåss Furuseth is a Norwegian standup comedian, actress, reporter, and television presenter.
