Sigurður Pálsson

Sigurður studied French in Toulouse and Paris 1967-1968, and drama and literature studies in the Institut d'Etudes Théâtrales, Sorbonne, Paris 1968-1973 and again from 1978-1982, obtaining maîtrise and D.E.A. degrees. He studied also in the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français, obtaining a cinema direction diploma. Pálsson works mainly as writer and translator. He has also worked as professor (University of Reykjavik and the National Academy of Dramatic Art) and cinema producer.

Hallgrímur Helgason

Hallgrímur Helgason is an Icelandic author, painter, translator, cartoonist and essayist. He has studied at the School of Visual Arts and Crafts in Reykjavík and the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.

His most famous works are 101 Reykjavík, which was made into a popular film, and Höfundur Íslands (Iceland's Author), which won the Icelandic Literary Prize in 2001. Guðrún Eva Mínervudóttir

Steinunn Sigurðardóttir

Steinunn Sigurðardóttir was born in Reykjavík in 1950. She finished her Matriculation Examination at the Reykjavík Higher Secondary Grammar School in 1968 and a BA in Psychology and Philosophy at the University College in Dublin in 1972.
