Born at the end of the Vietnam war and raised on a horse farm near small town north Georgia, his imagination evolved under the swaying pines surrounding his family’s log home. On summer days that were too hot, winter days that were too cold, and every night into the wee morning hours, he read books.
In addition to writing, he has been a submarine sailor, nurse, and business owner. His studies have included biology, anthropology, and medicine at UCSB and SUNY Buffalo. He is an active member of SCBWI and lives in sunny southern California with his beautiful wife and two perfect children. He writes like he reads, constantly.
Beth Castrodale worked as a newspaper reporter until her love of books led her to the publishing field. Alison Faiella is a psychological suspense author who lives in the Tampa Bay area with her incredibly patient husband, their three teenage boys (her favorite chaos), and two lovable dogs who think they’re humans. She’s been writing since junior high, when she discovered stories were cheaper than therapy, and won a literary award in college for her early work. Built to Be Forgotten is her debut novel, born out of her previous work as a Lifestyle Director at an assisted living/memory care, and her desire to never forget her residents. Miguel was born in Mexico, with a pen in one hand and a NES controller in the other. He's been trying to merge these two passions ever since. He lives in Mexico City with his incredibly patient wife, Marisol.
CHRISTOPHER O’HALLORAN (he/him) is a Canadian actor-turned-author toiling away in the milk mines of beautiful British Columbia, Canada. He is the author of the novel Pushing Daisy, as well as short stories and novelettes published in numerous anthologies and magazines. His story, “Charon Swims,” earned him a Pushcart Prize Nomination in 2024. Though he's stepped away from the camera for the time being, his acting education wasn't a complete waste; he uses it to narrate the odd story as well as perform eye roll-worthy shenanigans for his wife and two children.
Megan Monroe is an author from West Sussex, England. As a child, she enjoyed writing dark, macabre stories during school English lessons.
After turning in one particularly gruesome piece at the age of thirteen, her parents were called into school to check if everything was alright at home.
Megan’s mother would prefer it if she wrote ‘Fantasy or Romance’ and threw the first draft of ‘Bully Me’ out with the trash. Megan rewrote the book in four days (on her chromebook) and added more gore just to spite her. (Megan usually likes to write her 1st draft longhand and owns lots of pens).
