Shannon Riley (she/her) grew up writing gore starring her friends and family instead of doing math homework. She is the author of new revenge and body horror laden Pocketknife Kitty (Ghoulish Books, 2024). Additionally, her short fiction has been seen in the Dark Blooms: Girls' Coming-of-Age Horrors anthology, and in Ghoulish Tales, as well as various other places online. Buck Carr has been writing short horror fiction since he was a kid in the 80s, developing a love for the genre that has only grown stronger over time. Apart from writing, Buck has worked in the film and television industry in various capacities, including a boom operator, video editor, and obsolete videotape transfer specialist, which he does full time for a film preservation company in Maryland. With his extensive knowledge of the horror genre, Buck has garnered a reputation for his unique style of storytelling. Buck is a family man, married with two sons and two Siamese cats, Link and Samus. He currently resides in the Washington D.C. area, where he continues to write gory horror stories and collects horror paperbacks and VHS tapes.
Brigitte, "Gitte," Tamar was born in a small rural Oregon town. Growing up, she was enthralled by scary tales featuring poetic tones and consistently gravitated towards writing darkened narratives. In the different storylines, Brigitte explores the harsh realities of social issues faced by today's generations. This includes the dark outcomes brought on by peer pressure, addiction, homelessness, mental illness, childhood trauma, and abuse. She feels it is essential to share narratives that refrain from sugarcoating the topics society tends to shy away from.
Cassondra Windwalker earned a BA of Letters from the University of Oklahoma. She's the author of nine novels and three works of poetry who does her best to keep fed the menagerie of stray critters, cryptids, marooned kelpies, and lost specters. Born and raised on the red clay, she's wandered the sticky corn fields of the Midwest, the frozen seas of the Wild North, and frequently rests her wings where orange skies meet purple mountains. She enjoys interacting with readers, writers, and generally decent humans on social media.
Paul Carro is an active Horror Writers Association member and author of the acclaimed horror novel The House. His short stories have appeared in multiple anthologies, and he edits The Little Coffee Shop of Horrors Anthology series. His screenplay Penance is set up with legendary film producer Michael Phillips. Paul has served as a producer/writer in film and reality TV, and he resides in Santa Monica, California.
