S.L. is a retired Non-Commissioned Officer from the U.S. Army. He and his wife live in rural central Wisconsin with their big black cat, Jack. Debut novel, Queen of Crows won second place, and the sequel Crows and Wyverns won a third place from Book Fest Awards for the fantasy/dragons and mythical creatures' category.
