Rui Miguel Tovar (n. 1977) começou a trabalhar no jornal desportivo Record a 1 de novembro de 1995, dia de um Panathinaikos, 0, FC Porto, 0, para a Liga dos Campeões.
Mais tarde, foi coordenador de desporto do jornal i.
