Since then I have read everything I can about English history but I am particularly fascinated by the 18th and 19th century and my books are set in this period. As a proud British royalist, I've been fascinated with the English monarchy - from the early days of the War of the Roses, through the Tudor era, the trials and triumphs of England during World War II, and the current royal House of Windsor.
In researching England, I've developed a strong passion for the brave women of World War II. What they did was nothing short of heroic - sending their husbands and sons off to fight, dealing with rationing, long queues, and the terror of bombing and its aftermath while looking after the home. And starting in -

Bingley is also just a short distance from Haworth, the beloved home of the Brontë sisters. My preferred among them is Charlotte, the brilliant author of Jane Eyre – one of my all-time favourite books. I have a passion for reading and watching anything that features dark, brooding, gothic Victorian mansions. Many evenings, I find myself escaping into the gothic world through books, movies, or TV series.
As a child, I dreamed of evoking emotions in others, and what better way to do that than by becoming a singer or actress? However, my innate shyness posed a challe -

There came a point, however, where I decided it was time to set down some roots. At about this time, I started to dabble in writing again. In 2013, I joined the Romantic Novelists Association and had my first novel, a romantic drama, 'The Season for Love', published in December 2017; then took a time out.
'A Wing and a Prayer', book 1 in the 'Broken Wings' series, is my first Historical Saga. With my longstanding love of history, this seemed a genre ready made for myself.
I am published by The Wild Rose Press.
