A Brooklyn-born, recovering businessman, John Calia has been a naval officer, banker, entrepreneur and consultant. He began writing his blog “Who Will Lead?” in 2010 attracting more than 120,000 readers. The five-star rating of his first book – a business fable titled “The Reluctant CEO: Succeeding Without Losing Your Soul” – inspired him to keep writing. The author, Mr. Arpan Bhattacharyya comes from a middle-class family living in the heritage Dutch town of Chinsurah which is around an hour drive from the city of Calcutta in the state of West Bengal , India. He had spent most part of his childhood and adolescence in the pre colonial Danish Town of Serampore located in the district of Hooghly , state of West Bengal , India. He has obtained his elementary and higher school education from Protestant missionaries like The Assembly of God Church and Methodist School Missionaries.
