[1965, Lisboa] Has a degree in Film Directing from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema - ESTC). He taught at Ar.Co from 2005 to 2010 in the Illustration/ Comic strip department, and lectured at the Porto School of Art – Guimarães branch (ESAP/Guimarães (Escola Superior Artística do Porto - Pólo de Guimarães) between 2006 and 2008, where he coordinated the country’s first Master’s degree in Illustration. His work with comic books began at LX Comics magazine in the early 90s. He was an illustrator for the weekly newspaper Expresso and has had illustrations published in several newspapers: Público, Le Monde (France), O Independente and I newspaper.
