Richard’s career has been in the heavy transportation industry, spanning three continents. Born in England, he has also lived in the Middle East and now lives in Canada.

As a former president and general manager of several major international companies, he has been a leader and mentor in the industry. No stranger to writing, he has written many articles for trade magazines and government councils and now, with his James Macrae series of thrillers, Richard has branched out into the world of dramatic fiction.

His love of history, current affairs, as well as industry experience are all interweaved in his writing.
