Rakel Helmsdal
Rakel Helmsdal (born 25 September 1966 in Tårnby, Amager, Denmark, has been living in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands for most of her life) is a Faroese writer. For a 5-year peroid she lived in France where she wrote four of her books. She is also teaching creative writing.
She has been writing a series of books about the little and the big monster together with Icelandic Áslaug Jónsdóttir and Swedish Kalle Güettler. Their books are now published in 13 languages.
Her first childrens novel: Tey kalla meg bara Hugo, has been translated into Norwegian. The books have been published in the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Sweden, France, Finland, Spain and Norway. Helmsdal has created her own marionett-theatre, Karavella Marionett-Theatre.

Katherine Rundell was born in 1987 and grew up in Africa and Europe. In 2008 she was elected a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. Her first book, The Girl Savage, was born of her love of Zimbabwe and her own childhood there; her second, Rooftoppers, was inspired by summers working in Paris and by night-time trespassing on the rooftops of All Souls. She is currently working on her doctorate alongside an adult novel.

Ilmar Tomusk
Ilmar Tomusk on sündinud 28. juunil 1964. aastal Tallinnas. Aastatel 1971–1982 õppis Tallinna 32. Keskkoolis ning 1989. aastal lõpetas Tallinna Pedagoogilise Instituudi eesti keele ja kirjanduse õpetajana. 2002. aastal kaitses Tallinna Tehnikaülikooli Humanitaar- ja Sotsiaalteaduste Instituudis doktorikraadi haldusjuhtimises. Ilmar Tomusk töötab alates 1995. aastast Keeleinspektsiooni peadirektorina.

Niviaq Korneliussen
Niviaq Korneliussen was born in 1990 in Nuuk and grew up in Nanortalik, a small town in Southern Greenland. She participated in 2012 in the short story competition Allatta! (let us write!) for young unpublished authors in Greenland, where she was appointed as one of ten winners. Her short story "San Francisco" was published the following year in the short story collection Young in Greenland – Young in the World (trans. title).
