Kevin Tseng (which rhymes with “sun”) is the author of ONE SNOWY MORNING and the author-illustrator of NED’S NEW HOME, both picture books. He grew up in Thousand Oaks, California and earned degrees in biology and illustration at Washington University in St. Louis. Isaac Leib Peretz (Polish: Icchok Lejbusz Perec, Hebrew: יצחק־לייבוש פרץ), also sometimes written Yitskhok Leybush Peretz, best known as I. L. Peretz (י"ל פרץ) was born in Poland. He worked as a lawyer before he fully gave himself to writing. His debut was at the age of 27 and he was the first Yiddish author to leave the sjtetl and use the big city, with its poverty, basement houses and factories, as a theme.
Lisa Gibbs and Bernadette Hellard are sisters who have been involved in all aspects of netball in Australia for many years. They have played at A-grade level as well as coached and umpired. Netball Gems is Lisa and Bernadette’s second published series of netball books. Their earlier series consisted of four books aimed at girls in the 9-13 age range. Lisa is an academic specialising in child health and well-being. She is married with a 19 year old son and two stepsons, one in primary and one in secondary school.
